Communal Output Area

A communal Output area is an idea that has been put forward that communal communities e.g. Armed forces base or student campus be allocated an output area for itself. The advantage being that it does not distort the statistics for the surrounding Output Areas as happened in 2001.

At the time of writing whether these would be adopted in 2011 was still with disclosure control
