All pages on this site have a page rating - starting from zero. The page rate indicator is part of the page controls which appear near the base of every page. The number of positive ratings is displayed next to the page rate option link in parentheses.
Page ratings are also used in some summary links menus which collect a list of links to the highest rated pages, for example the highest ranked blog posts. As a registered user you can use the page rate control to add a +1 to a page rating if you feel that the content of a specific page is well presented, accurate, informative or particularly useful or topical. This should help you know 'good' the content on any page is before you read it based on the judgement of your peers. To rate a page simply click on the link to open the page rating control and then Click on the '+' link to add one to the current page rating. You can only apply a positive rating to a page. Click on the 'x' link to close the page rating control without rating the page.
